A complete revamp of a WordPress site for the town of Sweden that revised the navigation and menu to include more information, and would not have the generic look of many municipal websites. Copywriting for most pages was provided, along with graphics and photos that aligned with the overall color and theme. It was important to highlight the history of this rural community, while also making general information, municipal policies, ordinances, meeting minutes, and resources for residents easy to find. The end result was a professional looking, responsive website that has an updated look that sets this special community apart, and vastly improved functionality. Systems were set up for residents to sign up for emergency alerts and town mailing lists, a multi-functional calendar, news section, and FAQs section were also added. With a sticky menu, the website works perfectly on mobile devices.
