Hired as an independent contractor, Zynk Designs worked for Zinc Door’s parent company Layla Grayce for many years as an “out-of-house” creative director. Zinc Door was developed as an ecommerce website that sold modern and contemporary home furnishings, with a different target customer that Layla Grayce shoppers (and a company name inspired by Zynk Designs). I was responsible for creating the look, branding, and user experience for the new website, blog, marketing materials, and all print ad design, while also giving direction to Layla Grayce/Zinc Door employees. Full page print ads were placed in various home and shelter magazines every two months, and print ready art files supplied to the publications.
The company is no longer in business.
