Project description
Hired as an independent contractor to develop an ecommerce website for a new business, Zynk Designs then went on to work for Layla Grayce for many years, operating as an out-of-house creative director managing the website, creating weekly marketing email campaigns, all print ads and promotional printed materials, and working with affiliate companies to develop online banner ads. The online store sold home furnishings, children's and women's products, and required marketing campaigns for all three segments. A monthly marketing calendar was created, and Zynk Designs created the LG blog, contributing many posts and graphics, and tracked analytics for mailers and blog posts.
The company later closed, and today a streamlined Layla Grayce website is run by former employees of the original owners.

Project description
A family owned brick and mortar store in Laguna Beach, California wanted to branch out and create an online shop so seasonal visitors to the area could shop year round. Keeping with a coastal vibe (light and beachy), Zynk Designs updated their adirondack chair motif to create a new logo. Two-sided business cards featured a notes section on back, so associates could jot down product information that was being special ordered for shoppers who came to the store. The responsive ecommerce website design was very involved, and required advanced product options for multiple color choices that could be designated as drop shipped, shipped from the store, or freight shipped.
Zynk Designs designed and built out the website using Magento software, provided all copywriting, uploaded a full inventory of products, product photos, options, and prices for launch, then trained store associates on how to upload new products. A mailchimp email list was incorporated, with Zynk Designs creating and sending email marketing campaigns out for the client, then tracking open rates and sales.
